....when you can cut a 1.795 60' on street tires . NTR was hooking good last night and the air was cool and crisp. If somebody told me my car was capable of running 12.40's with street tires a few years ago I would of laughed. Tires are Firestone Firehawk 255/50-15 on Weld 15x8 Draglites.

I should have an in-car video of a 12.599 pass @ 109 so let me know if you guys wanna see it.

I had Firestone Firehawk SZ50EP tires on my car at one point many years ago and they were the some of the worst tires I've ever owned.

When I say "few years ago", I'm talking like 2003/2004-ish

Nice, I would still need drag radials.

I'm thinking when I put the cheater slicks on it will go high 1.60's and hopefully dip into the 12.20's

Gotta love when the spray the track down with VHT ahead of time for the big boys. Gives us stock radial guys that false sense of confidence.

My 245/45/17 Hankook V12 Evos do nothing but go up in smoke when I get on my Mustang. My Toyo Proxes TQ 255/50/16 drag radials hook much better.

I finally bought a pair of drag radials, and on the first night, gained a full second in ET, not heating them up, and leaving at 2000-2500...I was amazed at the difference drag radials made...time to go again, and see how much more I can pick up!
