The 03/4 Cobra is much the quicker car. More power and torque with similar weight and better gearing. Doesn't take a lot to figure it out.

HOWEVER, who would win would be more down to the drivers at the time. The IRS on the cobra can be tricky to launch. Also and sadly there are quite a few Cobra owners who struggle to manage any better than 13.2's in the 1320. But they are certainly capable of mid 12's.

In essance from a dig, stop light to stop light or 1/8th the s197 is slower but it IS quick enough to take the win if the Cobra is caught napping. A STOCK sn95 probably isn't, so it shows that the s197 is a step in the right direction.

cobra no question.

throw some 4.10 gears on the stang and it would be a real good race tho.
ive beat 03/04 cobras with 4.30s, intake, and pullies.
