This is great! The front end work you did reduced weight and also affected your front to rear weight balance. You should have a much better weight transfer when you launch.

My question is how can you tell a 1-2 MPH difference watching your speed gauge and keeping an eye on your tach? Seems like the speedometer can't really resolve a 1-2 MPH difference.

Well, im not watching the tack till after i pass the sign, just after I see the speed (im running out of RPM now BTW...over 6K). Im watching the speedometer and road, and the sign lol. I can see the sign and right as im about to cross it I look at the speed and can see the sign go buy and know exactly how fast I am going. Like I said its VERY VERY consistent, its not like one day it does 84 then the next it does 89...it was always 86-87MPH. Now its always 90+. About 4MPH on adverage gain at LEAST. It would do more if i could catch traction.

Yea my weight spread should be a bit closer to 50/50 lol. Im thinking around 55/45.

69, yea it sounds MEAN @ WOT and high RPMs....just like a powerful N/A Big block. It doesnt sound like it has 281 CID anymore, just deep raw power, yet smooth sounding. I love it...part throttle is kinda iffy, you really need to drive it just right for it to sound really good...but reguardless it still sounds MEAN, just like if you shift @ 3300ish it sounds even better/meaner, and again really deep.
BUT one think I dont like about the LTs is that a free revup sounds like crap:nonono: . Just funny sounding, and you can hear the exhaust pulling back up if you know what I mean. No popping, but its the sound that precedes the popping. Since the exhaust is very well equalized (X and LTs) it doesnt pop at all....never. But overall I am VERY happy with the sound.:nice:
