Just was wondering how many of us are here tonight, and what you are doing;

As for me...Listening to Christmas music (New stuff mixed in with traditional stuff--I have a pretty decent whole house system) Drinking a White Russian (let me fix that) Drinking White Russians while the wife finishes wrapping all of the gifts she has bought.

Thinking of all of the Monster gifts that I have amassed,.....I can't wait till tommorrow.

Merry Christmas gentlemen,.....Even to the ones ignoring me..

(I think that will look like this to those guys: )

Today's my birthday.

32 years old today.

I don't really celebrate it anymore, mostly depresses me at this point. Spent today changing one of the two front struts on my mom's Taurus. Would have gotten both done, but Ford designed that suspension badly (from a service standpoint) and I'm still not 100% post-surgery, so doing the passenger side wiped me the hell out and left me sore as , so the driver's side can wait, the one that had the broken mount and busted sway bar end link is fixed.

Merry Christmas Mike. I just spent the day with my children and then went to a family party with mom, step dad,aunts/uncles etc. Had too much to eat. Drank a few beers. Played dice/cards(and won lol). Told a few lies/stories and had fun spending time with everyone(even the few that are "less agreeable" to me lol).

My dad and stepmom are down in Florida and won't get to see them this season but plan on visiting in a month.

Worked on the fox for a while. Found an issue but ran out of time. Plucked some fruit off the trees and introduced them to vodka.

Ate with the family and had two Jai Ali (Cigar City IPA). Went to the grocery store and bought the makings for my version of "Bacon Explosion" (Italian sausage, bacon, green/red peppers and BBQ sauce). Came home to work on the valve cover gaskets on the Euro Civic (commonly referred to as a Mercedes). Broke every coil connector harness clip, replaced passenger gasket and ran out of lite. Drank 2 x shots of Vodka (is that just a regular Russian?). Made Turkish Coffee (yes, as my kids say, I'm international as F'k)). Drank more Russian as I hung 3 more photos of the family meeting sports folks (God bless the kitchen/Sports room. Contacted a guy about a wine cooler to replace my kegerator (trading it for some Henckel cooking knives). Signed up for a Doctorates in divinity ($39.95) and a Jedi Knight certificate (That's right RD can... marriage he can). Another shot, and either the world will explode or the chitlens will open packages at midnight. Merry Christmas to all those here tonight and in the a.m.

My Christmas story, went to bed early last night.

Got up early to visit with my present that i bought for myself

Their is an advantage to having your youngest being teenagers, they don't get up as early as when they were five. I like the low and slow wake up myself. Though i miss the hero worship of a five year old son.

Lots of presents under the tree, my wife is a complete christmas nut job and we MUST do certain things every year......EVERY YEAR.....hence the christmas cheer on my part.

It'll be a fun day though, the older kids will be stopping by on their whirlwind tours of all the places they must go. May be about three hours with each grandkid.

Did the germans give you tomorrow off Mike?

Seems to me that I remember talking about this in some other thread..........You have this "disdain" for Germans....
You know,..........we did beat them,.....they lost the war.....You know that right?

No,...I work retail. That means I will have to work tomorrow. Ordinarily, that is my standard day off, but this is my Saturday off upcoming, so the Monday is forfeit. (They did pay me for this day though,.so....It's about as good as I can expect)

Christmas here is still "waiting" to happen as well,....everybody is just now getting around. Equally over the top as you've described...

( I'm betting the silver box with the red bow against the window are Monster mats, we'll see here in a few minutes)
I have two vacation days that have to be taken by end of year, so Thursday I'm off. When combining those two days w/ the Saturday, that means a mini-vacay.

So,...Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then I go back to my regular Monday....So, Monday is off too. How can you beat that?

Also this year on the 31st,..Will be my 31st Wedding anniversary too. Couldn't be happier about being married to this woman.

Merry Christmas Mike. I went to bed early, I was worn out. I think by 9:30 or earlier, not sure. We got up early this morning and the kids opened presents. Sam got some handtools and a set of KYB struts and shocks. The girls got girly stuff I know nothing about.. except the bear.

The teenagers already hopped in their cars and booked it. I'm just sipping coffee.

Merry Christmas everyone!
