Who has no care to do anything else to it, has it right where they want it, etc.?

No matter what I do to the car I just can't stop. And I'm not even talking about adding more power endlessly, either.

I was bored at work the other day so I've now got a nice spreadsheet of projects to tackle over winter. While I was at it I threw in the projected time required for each so I can plan it all nicely when the time comes. It doesn't matter but FWIW I put in the cost per each as well. Most are without price though, just a bit of elbow grease and ingenuity

So anyway -

I told a couple friends that I wasn't stopping this time around either, and they just laughed at me.

I will never be finished. Aaarrrg, I thought I was but then I get some extra money. and all I can do is look for something to add to the list of mods. Its a cruel sickness that we have...........

I have a few minor things that I'd like to touch up or repair (mostly cosmetic), but otherwise, I'm pretty happy with where my notch is sitting, right now.

Then again, I could use a set of lower control arms ... which would necessitate a set of torque box reinforcements ... which would then make me want to get some drag radials ... which would mean two more wheels ... and then another two more wheels to match THOSE two wheels ... and then ...

Aw, who are we kidding, here? There's no such thing as a "FINSIHED" Mustang. Period.

It NEVER ends. There will be always something you can make better. And if you modify everything... you'll start modifying the things you already modifyed over again but with better parts. Thats why once i finish my engine... i'm starting a new mustang project. In fact i already bought the new mustang project today! I'm taking a old beat up 4 banger and completely redoing it. It should be a good thread to follow!

There are a few cars around here that are pretty much to the level where you can't do anything else, and I know those guys as well are always tinkering one way or another. I haven't changed anything big yet like they do when they get bored, I just keep on with the small things Not like I don't have ideas bouncing around in my head of...well, nevermind.

I know I'll never be done. I thought what I have now was going to keep me happy but apperently the power Iam putting down isnt enough. Next will prob be a cage and 5 points, then when she blows prob a dart block 331 boost car. Ahhh someday.

I'm planning out for the next 5 or 6 years right now. This weekend I'm doing the AOD/T5 swap. I am currently in the planning stages for doing suspension next year, while still saving up for the Boss block that will be the basis for a stroker engine project a year or two down the road. Then I've got to plan out the financing for a Kenne Bell Blowzilla to mount on top of the whole thing. On top of all that, I keep finding things like this that I just HAVE to have. So it is a neverending struggle.

I'm looking at getting a 99% stock teal 93 Cobra. If I do get my hands on it, all it will get is a catback and some 3.55s.

I will never be done. Once I think I am, I will break something or see something else I want to do to the car. But its been worth it so far.

The only way I can see you saying "I'm done" is giving up, killing somebody, etc.

They must put something in our gasoline that we end up inhaling At least I'm in good company though!

Honestly, after the new transmission and more interior upgrades I was pretty certain I'd have nothing to do short of a new motor (which I won't do until I need to). So I get bored and think hard for 5 minutes and now I have a full page list of **** to do. Not that I care, of course. I wonder if by this time next year if I'll be wondering what happened again.

My original plan was to get it into the 13's. And I did! While I would be happier with LOW 13's its STILL A 13. Its been a daily driver now without any direction towards mods.

I'm just trying to get the fock outta here. Once I'm there I will see where the 5.0 is going.
