Who's going to Pacific this sunday?

I will still be there testing my car, even if I have to bracket race and then jump to time only's. Saturday night of course, gates open at 4;00pm I believe, racing starts at 5:00pm.

I don't think PR's charter lets them race during the later hours until May. I sent an inquiry and will post results.

Yeah, smoking just a little- you conldn't see the car at the top end!

The dipstick was pushed out of the tube and oiled the headers. Hot headers don't get along really well with motor oil. I installed a crankcase evac kit to see if I can get the crankcase pressure down and keep the dipstick in it's place. I wish I could street-drive the car to see if it's fixed, but I can't. So the only way I know if it's ok is to make another pass. I'll be there early Saturday; weather permitting, of course. Please do let us know the track times.

One of the handlers jumped on his little motorbike to check-out the track after you ran. Do you have breathers on both valve covers?

PR has not answered my inquiry yet, but my bet is on an early morning start.

I did have normal breathers on both valve covers. Now I have chrysler-style breathers hooked to the headers as part of the evac kit. I have a pressure sensor that i'm going to datalog crankcase pressure with next time out so I can see what's going on in there.

Haha yes... I have never done it but I am very familiar with what a bracket race is. I didn't word my question very well sorry. I was asking more about how the event is run. Can I just show up and go or what?

No problem, just didn't know how to word a response. Yes, you just show up. You will have to purchase a competition number at the entrance booth when you pay the fee to race (it's $10 and is good for the rest of the season). Then I would imagine you will get a couple of shakedown passes, pick the class you want to run in, and go.
