Ok, I just installed a 2" Sunpro electrical oil pressure gauge. Cranked car and drove it around. It stayed on about 50 psi at various speeds and did not seem to vary much like my old Mech. gauge would. The only time it seemed to go below 50 psi much was if I was going at a very slow rpm it would dip down to about 25 psi just before the engine would stall. Question is, Is that normal for a electrical gauge to not be as precise as the mech. ones? I ditched the old mech. unit as the line busted and oiled down my passenger side floor board. After that I said never again and went w/ the electrical unit. Thanks for anyone comments..
