Why are my brakes squealing already

I have an 03 Cobra with 6700 on it and the rear brakes are squealing already. Is this normal?

Describe it better..... squeaks the first couple of stops than goes away? Or squeaks always, almost everytime you stop? I cant remember the brake warranty off the top of my head but it might cover squeaking.

If it is only the first couple of stops, it is due to the rust buildup. Can happen in a matter of hours, thats the fun of the northeast

Mine squeak all the time. Just figure they are still being broken in. I have a tad over 7K on mine. I would like to know if others have also had this happen. I just figured it was the norm. Doesn't bother me too much, it goes well with all the other rattles, creeks, and clunks the car makes.
