They were moved to the 2005+ talk forum..Any threads posted that are considered as non-technical are moved from the 2005+Tech forum over to 2005+talk forum where they belong...That's just the way it's always been

The redirects should bring you right to the thread. When I or one of the other mods see stuff in here that is not tech oriented we move it. You might have noticed a increase in this since I have been added to the s197 forums. I am tring to make it more like the 4.6 forums I also moderate, where tech stuff goes into tech and the talk forum is used for the other threads.

I am going to leave this in here for a few days so others can see it. then I will move it to talk.

You may have also seen an increase in thread movement since I have come back onboard.

I have been moving threads that are posted in V8 tech that are of a technical content; however, they are of interest to both the V-6 and V-8 crowds.

My reasoning is that we are doing our best to grow the S197 forums by increasing participation and membership. In an effort to achieve this goal we are working on solidifying thread classifications that are technical to only V-8s, only to V-6s and those that pertain to both engines. The threads that have application to both engines will be moved to talk in hopes they get more hits and more participation.

It is also my hope and goal that the mixed crowd threads will help increase interaction between the V-8/V-6 members, which will help build relationships. If all goes well, this will increase respect between the two and prevent future problems with "trolling". When we all form a better bond, the jokes and puns will be overlooked and accepted for what they are. With this said, none of the mods will accept personal attacks or flames against another member. I am more inclined to step back a bit and monitor the interactions and redirect only when necessary.

I would hope that noone takes offense at a thread move. If you do, you are always welcome to PM Mike (svttech), me, Red or Bigcat.

If you have any specific question concerning what I said here, please PM me. I'll be more than happy to respond.

P.S. With this said....................................................... I am moving the thread to talk.
