An ex-g/f calls me up, says her life is a wreck (good thing she's an EX), and starts throwing all this on me. I get this a lot. Everybody seems to throw a lot of their burdens on me. Don't get me wrong, I love to help people anyway I can, but why does it seem there's always one person that everybody throws their problems on?

I know how you feel man. Happens to me alot, too (not ex's, though). I kind of understand, though. I've been through alot. I've seen alot. I guess people think that I can help them because of that .... but that's not always true. Sometimes yes .... sometimes no. It does get old .... but then again I understand .... because there've been times I had to do the same. When they get to the point they won't leave you alone .... that's when I establish "the line".

lol, "the line".

i know what you guys mean--i'll be the one people tell their dark **** to, like how they were molested or how an ex screwed them over hardcore. sometimes i have not a clue what to say, so i'll be like "wow..."

Yeah I know the feeling, My ex calls me up everytime she needs something done with her car, or just anything else. I find its best that you just tell them how you feel. I'd rather have people hate me for what I really think, then like me for what I dont.

im kind in the situation with my brother right now. I have a 16 month old neice and my brother takes it upon himself to flip out on my mom whenever he wants. Then they bring me into it and Im like WTF. Justin tells me all the time to stay away from it but its my family and I can't just turn my back. But sometimes you just gotta tell them hey, I can't be their like you want me to. And dude shes your ex for a reason. If you don't care anymore tell her to go elsewhere. Easy for me to say, Im kind of cold hearted when it comes to things like that unless they are my family or someone I really care for. But alot of people want to talk to me about problems, b/c I have been through alot as well. But if her problems are causing problems in your lief you need to back away from her. That could really start a bad situation

I don't know how you do it man.......talking to your ex gf. I don't talk to any of mine. I had a bad break up with my gf i was in love with and i still am but we've been broken up for almost a year and its really hard to get over her. She's tried contacting me but all i can say is for her to leave me alone because its too hard. Props to for being able to talk to em. I know i cant.

i'm with you on this one man..i had a reallll bad break up with my last gf and i just can't stand to talk to her much less see her face. but, she still finds it convenient to call me when she wants..it's gotten to the point where i just ignore all her calls, erase her emails before i try to read 'em, and pretty much rid myself of her completely..
on topic noW!:, i'm usually the go to guy as well. i had a girl tell me the other day that by the way i talk to her, she can tell that i'm usually the guy my friends go for help..how odd how soemone who doesn't even know me can tell just that..and I'M usually the one who analyzes someone
