Why do stock gauges suck?

god damnit i created this thread to justify buying the autometer gauge cluster and to find out if buying it would give me an advantage over stock gauges in terms of functionality so i coudl justify buying them, can someone please answer my question

I don't think the guage cluster will give you anything other than looks over stock. I beleive it uses the same sensors, and it is still just marks, not numbers, so you will not know what your actual oil pressure, temp, ect. is. Just get the actual gauages instead of the cluster and save yourself some money.

The Autometer cluster is strictly an appearance upgrade, not a functional one.
