Why does it feel like I have more power at 3/4 throttle than wot?

When I'm driving my car and I accelerate at about 3/4 throttle it feels like There is more power there then at wot?

i used to have that problem i don't remember how i fixed it though... check your tps voltage to see if its off

Yeah I have that problem, and I know for a fact that my TPS is off. I just haven't fixed it. . .hmm, I don't have class today, maybe I'll do that now.

Ok, thats good now i know i'm not crazy. I just checked the tps voltage and checked for dead spots and everything looked good.

whats the TPS voltage?

Throttle Position Sensor. It lets the computer know how far the throttle is open.around. I corect me if i'm wrong but i think the computer sets closed throttle every time you start your car. As long as it's around .90-.99v it's fine.

ye ai have the same, but i knwo for a fact that WOT is faster, just 3/4 feels faster

Yeah my TPS at idle is 1.3 volts. AT WOT, it's at 6 volts. I was gonna mess with it, but I didn't feel like taking off the cruise control to get at the TPS screws. I'll mess with it when I get a tweecer
