Well, I finally got the car tuned pretty well and the thing felt like it had a good bit of top end....but my low end just wasn't there (I attribute that to the blower cam w/ no blower)

well...as I was driving around, I smelled fuel pretty strong. I immediately stopped the car and checked all my lines and injectors. I found out that my braided SS fuel line was pissing fuel on my valve covers not good at all.

So now I have to go out and try to find a similar hose...and I doubt any place around here will have them.

also Clark69:

You prolly already have the answer to your question..but I remember an old post of yours where you asked about fuel line routing. Mine goes from the tank -> fuel rail -> pressure regulator -> back to tank.

I originally got mine from summit. I don't have an in-tank setup anymore..just an inline. I also have vortech fuel rails so adding the braided lines was a ton easier. I just replaced all my fuel lines with beefier braided SS.

Looks 100x better too.....until one randomly leaks on you.......

My stock rubber stuff doesnt leak....

But seriously....lots of OEM stuff is good quality, especially when compared to aftermarket stuff of unknown origin. So you should expect this kinda stuff...

yeah...I should.

One more question:

I think I'm going to get some braided hose from Earl's plumbing....but the hoses don't have any connectors on them. I imagine I have to buy those separately....but how do you put the ends on? Do you just push them on there real good or is there some other way.

May be a dumb question...but I've never had to mess with hoses before.

thanks

stroker/nitrous 351 is in the works.

One more question:

I'm dumb when it comes to -an fittings. My vortech fuel rails take a -6AN on the feed side. I see most people saying I should run -8AN on the feed side...so I'm guessing I'd need to get an adapter?

sorry for the noob questions...never messed with the AN stuff

No you can replace it with different fitting. you can pick those up from any performance shops even motorcycle shops can order those for you. they are not cheap.
