Why does the AOD shift so low??

EXACTLY!!! I dont mean to sound like a whiny commuter/tame/unsportscarry person but how is that even remotely acceptable? Thats ludicrous. I REALLY REALLY want a c4 (only 80 lbs, vacuum modulated, strong) but 1:1 final drive just wont cut it if the car is going to actually be used for any standard car duties and have gears too.
