94 V6 w/CAI only mod.
When I go to the front of the Tang it is very hot, front of hood hot and you can feel heat at front of Tang. This seems hotter than it should normally feel to me. Am I missing something or is this normal, should the fan continue to run after shut off. New Rad, Thermo, runs normal temp, thermo opens, temp drops then back to normal. Any ideas or help. Thanks

We're not as conversant with the OBD-II 6's, but on V8's the fan does not run after the key is off.

How hot is it where you're located? If it's in the 90's, it might not be unusual.

You noted heat coming from the front of the car - are you sure that the fan is pulling air instead of pushing it?

I live in Vegas Baby,
So we are not even hot yet. I will check to see if fan is pulling air in towards the motor, did not think of that. I was wondering if the trans cooler could be part of the problem, any known issues there? Thanks!

FWIW there is a V-6 tech section on this site. You might try posting there to see if there is someone more knowledgeable when it comes to the V-6 engine.
