Everything else on the dash works. guages, blinkers, emergency flashers, brake lights. Only thing that isn't is the guage lights?

check the fuse. also the lightswitch could be bad or have corroded contacts.

I'm having the exact same problem, my fuses are fine and I just replaced the light switch, hoping that would fix the problem, unfortunately it didn't.

Anyone else know what the problem may be?

Bad contact, loose wire, bad ground, who knows! I once had a Pathfinder that had the same problem just after I bought it used. One night I was just so frustrated I smacked the top of the dash really hard, and shazam....all the dash lights came on and never had a problem after that.......
