a few of us have had this discussion recently and i even searched ebay etc for a cheap used unit to try and convert. Those things just don't come cheap and i wasn't gonna spend 300 for an experimental unit so i gave in and bought the overlays.

I have seen them on ebay for 96-98 also. But in all honesty, for the price, I would get something else. I mean, I agree, they look awesome, but Im just not into them that much.

they don't make a entire guage cluster for 96-98 unless its a Cobra cluster...but Autometer doesn't and thats the ones we wanted, they just look great in the car. I have seen them in person and it makes the interior look sooooooo much better.
