cant u get an adapter or get the wires out of a 99 gt or somethin to make it work?

a few of us have had this discussion recently and i even searched ebay etc for a cheap used unit to try and convert. Those things just don't come cheap and i wasn't gonna spend 300 for an experimental unit so i gave in and bought the overlays.

That's the one thing I hate about our cars. Stupid mechanical odometer. Can't get any cool gauges.

actually off work tomorrow and will be installing them. It rained for 10 days straight here so they have been sitting in the box. I'll take some pics when everything is installed.

I have seen them on ebay for 96-98 also. But in all honesty, for the price, I would get something else. I mean, I agree, they look awesome, but Im just not into them that much.

they don't make a entire guage cluster for 96-98 unless its a Cobra cluster...but Autometer doesn't and thats the ones we wanted, they just look great in the car. I have seen them in person and it makes the interior look sooooooo much better.
