Wanted to install my cobra brakes on my car this weekend. But the wheelstuds are to short.

Wich should i order ? No one over here can deliver them so have to buy them over seas. Want good ones.

Should this be correct:

Its for the front cobra brakes with the mustang steve brackets with disc on the drum brake wheel hub. Hope someone can help me out so i can order them asap (want to instal them soon )

Anybody knows ? Over here nobody could tell me wich one's i need.

I'll take a look when I get home this evening and let you know....I have the Mustang Steve set-up w/ '05-'07 brakes.

Ok great, hope to hear it soon. Have to order them and will takes a couple of days before i get them here. Want to put the brakes under before i'm going to ride the car.

Maybe the original wheelstuds are usable ? Don't know because i dont have them, but those would be easy to get here.

I'm doing the same conversion. Original studs won't fit - they are too short for the combined thickness of brake rotor + alloy wheel. I ordered some studs from Summit Racing but I live in Russia and it takes a while for the packages to arrive. I know it cleared Russian customs so it should be here any day now. So when I receive it I can tell you how they fit.

OK, I got them installed - they fit my combo just fine. but I guess someone may run into problems - the thread doesn't go all way to the knurl. so with the brake rotor installed I had about 5 mm from the thread end to the rotor surface. my wheels are 8 mm thick at the stud holes so this was OK. but if one has a thinner wheels it can be a problem. look at pic - original vs moser studs

After crawling under my car and getting the cast-in part number on the wheel studs I used and researching said part number..I do not know what I bought exactly..sorry.

The only think different than the ones previously posted are mine have threads all the way to the knurled area.

If your wheels have enough material at the mounting flange, go ahead with the previous ones posted...

Thank for the answers from both of you ! Will order the moser studs then, the wheels are thick enough for it.

Hoping to get the T5 swap done tomorrow and then begin with the cobra brake swap !
