I was at a car show today and next to each other was a 04 red mach1 and a sonic blue 05 gt. Both cars looked awesome all polished up. I cant afford either right now so its basically dreaming for me but I think the mach1 only because its special edition.

There should be at least one thread on this already, and I know there were many more before the crash. It is all preference since they are both nice cars. Check my sig for my choice if it matters though .

I was so sure of my choice I brought another in May of 2004. Driven 2 new GT's now for several hours and I wouldn't trade. Now the Shelby maybe a whole new story. Both are great cars though, I just like the LE cars that aren't going to be everywhere.

I really like the '05 Mustang GT but would not give up the Mach1 for one, now if I could add the '05 to the stable and keep the Mach it would be a better world .
Although, I think if Ford was to offer an '06 Mach1 made up how the '03 and '04s were, I would consider giving up my Mach for that.

I have a gut feeling the next LE might be a Boss not a Mach 1.

Choices-Choices

I'd go for the '05 because of the more solid body and the new technology in the suspension and engine as well as bigger brakes. Bur that's just me.

Actually the Mach has 13 inch fronts and 11.7 rear compared to 12.4 inch front and 11.8 rear for GTs. Anywhoo, if I didn't have a Mach 1 I'd have a new GT, either way both nice cars, it's a toss up for me between the two.

You win either way. They are both bad a$$. The 07 Shelby is a different story altogether though .
