Wierd ignition behavior - any ideas?

One day I drove somehwere for lunch, when I got back into my car to drive back to work, it would not fire. It turned over but would not fire. I popped the hood, switched from the MSD box back to the stock ignition and it started right up. I thought "Okay bad MSD box..." A few days later, the same thing happened - it turned over but did not fire and this was on the STOCK ignition. So I switched form the stock ignition back to the MSD box and it started right up! Now, every few days I am swithinc from one ignition to the other in order to start the car up. Has anyone had this issue before?

Good condition plugs
Good condition wires

You might want to check your PIP sensor in your dizzy. I had a problem with this and it just got worse. I think it threw a check engine light but then shortly went away. I didn't switch the ignition like you but after a few minutes it would finally start, it would just happen when ever it wanted but usually after it had been running. The sensor is cheap but you have to pull you dizzy and take it apart to put it in. You may be having the same problem.

To test the PIP theory (A good thought IMHO, and it often will not toss a code), when it wont start, check for spark and injector pulsing (use a noid light). If you have neither, the PIP is likely. But if there is no spark but there IS injector pulsing, the PIP should be fine.
