wierd rubbing sound

Hey guys I have been having the wierdest proplem with my stang. I have a 95 GT with an AODE. What happens is when I get on it I hear a wierd rubbing sound from below me and I feel a vibration under my feet. But the thing is if I get on it again before it cools down it does not do it. Any thoughts? Thanks

Only form a start perhaps?

Somehow my driveshaft hits my pass side muffler (blelow and to the right of the D/S) under hard acceleration. It got a lot worse with the 3.73 gears so it is parked until I can change out all the bushings in the next couple of weeks (she is a pretty worn out car).

Any signs of wear on the D/S?

Rubbing on e-brake cable perhaps???

Check the D/S for rub marks, then check the harmonic dampner to see if the rubber is coming out between the two metal rings.
