Wierd Sounds??

I just hooked up my pinoeer premier deck yesterday... When you turn it on or change the station it the speakers pop loud once.. Then there is a high pitch tone. This is with out the engine running.. now my battery is in the back so there are no wires routed together accept for the rca and the remote wire.. note that the internal amp is blown in the head unit. i ve come to the conclusion that it is the deck that is messed up.. lemme know what you think

I think you've got it! As you said the internal amp is toast.
