will 67/68 vert center console fit in coupe?

Just wondering if there are any differences.

Should fit any car, now a coupe overhead console in a 'vert.......

I know on the '66 there are two slots on each side of the console for the floorpan support braces. If you were to install this on a coupe, there would be two large gaps on either side of the console.

I don't think I've seen that before. Would those gaps be noticeable from the top? Could the seatbelts be run up through those gaps?

I think I know what you're talking about now,and the gaps would be too far forward.

I had a '67 vert and the tranny hump seemed to be the same as my buddy's '67 coupe and another buddy's '67 fastback. I think the difference was under the floor on the '67-'68 cars.

Now, of course, the upper consoles are different on the coupe and the fastback.
