1968 Coupe Automatic Trans Floor Console.

I'm looking to install a center console into my non console automatic transmission 68 coupe.
Can I use my existing floor shifter and linkages?
I've found a complete OEM console with all brackets, hardware and wiring.

The shifter top is different than the standard floor shifter ,the indicator is a aluminum slide plate . The shifter bottom is also different ,it has ears on top the the slide plate bolts two that the standard shifter bottom does not have

I'm thinking it's going to be too much of an undertaking.
I'll probably leave it as it is.

It's easy to ad ,you just need the correct shifter ,probably find one on ebay
