I found a 69 donor mustang and I'm taking the 9 rear out for my 66 but will the 5 lug front drums bolted up to my 66 so I can get rid of stock 4 lugs?

Yeah but you'll have the same geometry issues as you would with Granada swap. I wouldn't do it, there IS a possibility of handling problems

that's only if you run really sticky tires with a short sidewall, the shelby drop and stiff springs. for a cruiser this swap is prefectly acceptable, especially since we're taling about him using the stock front DRUMS. i doubt he'll be doing any serious suspension mods with drum brakes.

Get a set of Baer Trackers and don't worry about steering issues. The Trackers allow bump steer to be adjusted with shims, works great!

I would recommend upgrading to disc brakes though, BTW.
Its worth the $
