will 98 GT injectors work on my 88 5.0

I was wondering if I can just put these injectors in instead of buying brand new 19 lb injectors. They are off of a new 4.6.

YES, 99% of ALL injectors will work with our cars

I got orange injectors out of a 98 thunderbird with the 4.6 in it, will they work in my 88? Are the 19 lbs??

I look at them next to a injector out of a 88 5.0 and they look different, same plug but the rest of them look different. Will they work??

Yes I believe they will work...because of you look at when you by injectors they are all the same thing...whether they look different or not...

Plug them in and see...I see no problems...as long as the fuel injector connector clips on it should work...

The intake design on the 4.6's are much different than the design on the 5.0 so is most likely the reason for the different look (possibly to have clearance)...

The key to whether they will work is tne connector - there are two styles, the "oval" and the "rectangular" (Mustang style). Here is a vusual guide..........
