I can get a great deal on a h pipe off a 98gt if it will fit my 2001.
search forum and could not seem to find an answer on this although i see some brands for 96-04 and some only 99-04. The guy selling doesn't remember the brand and doesn't seem to be marked but looks like a UPR to me. 2 piece unit.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I am going to say probably not. Most of the ones I see say 96-98, and then 99-04. But I think it also depends on the brand. I think I recall seeing 1 that said 96-01, but I would still lean to the no side. You can find them cheap all the time, so I would just feel safe knowing Im getting the right 1 for my car

I am sure you can "make" it fit. It might require some cutting and welding or clamping. How cheap is cheap is the question. If its $20 bucks then buy it and if it dont fit just sell it and get one that does

50 bucks. I guess i could resell it on ebay or something if it don't fit. I have seen advertisements for 96-04 before though. I will most likely just try for the hell of it.

It'll work for you.

I've switched my setup quite a few times and have bought off the newer models and everything was fine.
