Ok this sounds dumb and i can go measure for myself but i'm too tired to go moving crap in my garage. This is the thing. I have a stock hood (65) and a guy that i work with has a 67 beater with no hood and he wanted my hood. true i should just say yes, it fits no prob and sell it too him, but that's not me. Anyway i wanted to know if a stock 65 hood is too narrow and too short for the mounting points on a 67 mustang. Or are the dimensional mounting and latching points equal? I know it wouldn't look right if it did indeed fit but this guy has a f'n beater he's not proud of (makes me feel bad for the car) but i just wanted to see if i could give his motor a hat to wear. please let me know.

And tell that guy to sell the car to someone who cares about it. Then with the money go buy a tru beater(some 80 model japenese crap) and put a huge wing on the back. The he can beat the hell out of it and it wont make any difference to any of us.
