The tach goes to 8K in 4.6. Ours goes to 7k.
its a little off. I acidentally got white faced gauges from a 4.6. Its nit that bad.

Im not sure if changing the faces would make it right.

Technically you're right it's not a straight swap per say you have to swap pins to make it work.

Do you think the tach would work right if you swapped the faces? Like does the computer tell the tach needle to go to say 12 o'clock, or does it say fgo to 3500 RPM?

If its the latter of the two trhen the tach will be off. But Ive had a 4.6 tach for months and it dosent really bother me.

When you say the "face" are you talking about just the white peace??

Thats what I figured. I just didnt know if the thing in the tach that makes it turn would pick up say 3k RPM on the 5.0 and point it to the spot for 3k on a 5.0, or if it would..... I lost my train of though. brb
