will a t5 from a 4.6 swap over to my 95 gt?

can i swap a t5 from a 96 up 4.6 to my 95 gt 5.0? i was wondering if you just needed to change the belhousing. thanks

The T-5s were only in 5.0 equipped Mustangs. From 1996-early-2001 the 4.6 Mustangs were equipped with the T-45. From late-2001 until 2004 they were equipped with the TR3650.

No, and the Fox 5.0 T5 isn't a straight bolt-in swap either 'cause has a shorter input shaft. You'll need a T5 from a '94-'95 model.
