will a v-8 fit in a v-6 car

yea i just bought a 96 v-6 mustang, after i sold my 5.0 89 and i was wondering can i put a 4.6 or a 5.0 v-8 in there

Yes, same size engine bay.

yeah you can put either a 4.6 or a 5.0 in there... it'll be a PITA, and you'll probably need a doner 5.0 or 4.6 to make it easier. your best bet is to just buy another GT.

Just buy a 96GT and save a crapload of time and money.

Hell, didn't something like SVT squish a V10 into a 99 Mustang for fun?

Makes me with I had the sort of money to do that kind of thing, but my actual point was that a V8 will fit.

Well I pulled my engine out expecting to throw in some forged pistons, new bearings and rings, and here I am two weeks later dropping off a 351W at the machine shop.

But again, to keep this on topic as to not piss off anyone, yes a V8 will fit.
