Would a CD player/radio combo out of an 04 Cobra work in my 95 if I got the correct Dash bezel for it to fit into? I know the bezel swaps right in, but I am not sure if my stock wiring is the same as the 04. My stock CD player is damn near fubared and rarely will work right anymore.

im pretty sure wires are different. but you could cut/splice or tap the wires in the stock harness to make it work.

errr, why don't you go aftermarket? this is a good time/excuse for a nice pioneer, alpine, or kenwood!

One reason...money (the lack of enough of it in my wallet lately). This is a guy just tryin to unload some stock parts, and I could get it for a pretty cheap price. My CD player annoys the F*** out of me cuz if you try to skip more than 2 or 3 tracks on a cd, it will get confused and eject the CD. I don't have $200+ to spend on an aftermarket CD player, and I thought this might be a way to fix the problem until I could afford a nice CD player.

As far as any splicing....not a big fan of that. Maybe there is an adapter harness? Any how-to's would be greatly appreciated.

FWIW, I just got a nice Alpine at Best Buy for $99. It's a CD/MP3 player, too.

Damn....that price is pretty good. My roommate works at best buy so he could probably even get me a discount off $99.

crutchfield would have the harness' to do it.

you would need:
1. the normal 95 wiring harness for an aftermarket cd
2. the male(factory) connector for the 04

if you really wanted to do the swap call em and explain what your doing and theyll get you the wires.

No they won't. There isn't a harness made for that. Ford changed the mach harness in 01, and maybe in 03 again. I can check my dealer book from metra to to be a 100% sure when they changed them all. If he wants to use the 04 head unit in there he will have to swap the harness in the car. Not worth it.
