Right now it has an o/r prochamber, dynomax weld-ins and the stock tips, will bigger tips make it louder?

Im buying some anyways because it looks goofy without big tips out the back, but i want to know if its going to add any volume as well or not.

I think 4" magnaflow slant-cuts are the way to go, any other suggestions or comments?

I've seen the Magnaflow 4" tips on a couple Machs. In my opinion their too big. The 3 1/2" tips I think are a perfect fit.

get new mufflers. some borla stingers or SLP LMII's would be your best best if you want loud.

go for the 4" tips bro, as long as it has rolled edge. i listened to everyone here and bought the MRT 3.5" chrome rolled tips and they look too small. 4" would be perfect

in terms of loudness, i woudn't really count on it being noticeable, but in theory, it is suppose to be a little louder

here's a quick pic of my crappy ass 3.5" chrome tip

Those are the worst 3 1/2" tips I've ever seen. Mine fill up the exhaust cutouts perfectly. The 4" look like tractor trailer exhaust pipes. But, whatever.

Bigger tips = deeper tone.

3" looks good to me, 3.5" for attention purposes... 4" is more suited for a school bus...

The pic of the 4" is misleading. You really need to see a 3 1/2" and a 4" in person, then make your decision. The pic of the 3 1/2", your tips are hanging down, and their rolled tips. Non-rolled tips are better looking.

Does someone have a picture similiar to this with 3.5"... because i think that this ooks really good, maybe a tad smaller, but im not sure how much of a difference the .5" would make.

Oh and for the record there's an 04 cobra here with 4.5" tips and they're huge but still look amazing.

Im not looking for louder necessarily, i love the tone and the volume is perfect, its quiet enough that its not obnoxious but you can hear it clearly from a block away if its revving at about 2000-2500rpm, obviously at 3000+ rpms you can hear it from very far away.

SLP 3.5" Rolled tips... IMO they look a lil small cause the rolling, but I think 4" looks too big, even rolled... I wish the made a 3.3/4" Rolled

i have heard that different styled tips produce a small variation in sound

i've been told that the larger rolled tips produce a more precise sound, deeper with more tone, while the normal ones produce a tiny bit more of a sloppy/semi-raspier sound.

4" rolled looks the best IMO. I've seen Borla Stinger tips on a Cobra and they look so much better than my cheap looking magnaflows.

The biggest problem I have with mine (non-rolled) is they're so thin you can barely see them, from behind.

No offense but Magnaflow tips are the worst tips i've ever seen. Both fit and finish
