I have a 302 that had a carb on it and Im going with efi. Can I use the carb timing cover thats on there or do I need to put on an efi one? I have the water pump for the existing timing cover that I just need a gasket for, otherwise I have pull the pulley off and my puller broke so to save some time im wondering if i can just use whats already on it with an efi setup?

It already has stuff on it, I'm assuming that's the fuel pump for a carb...sorry I'm an amatuer and used to seeing efi pumps...will I be okay?

Theres a broken mechanical pump on it right now, will it leak or anything? Im sure its a very dumb questions but im used to efi and since the fuel is going in though a completely different route I just want to make sure it wont cause any problems before i put the motor in and have to tear it apart when its in...thanks!

Take the mechanical pump off and put a block off plate in its place like previously mentioned
