I want to replace my stock 16 year old motor mounts with a set of energy suspenion poly mounts. I know that hard tops and verts had difference mounts from the factory, and was wondering if the energy suspension mounts are only for hard tops because it does not state whether they are or not. Would I have to buy new convertible motor mounts from Ford or will the E.S. mounts work?

The mounts are actually based on the covertible motor mounts, They will work fine on yours

yep. And in later years, hardtops received the captured vert mount anyhow. So if the mounts work on a 93 hardtop (which uses your vert mount), you are doubly golden.

Good luck.

Going to the vert mounts and a poly trans mount my car felt soo much smoother..the shifter bezel which always had a vibration that caused an interior rattle for yrs was gone. My Fan blades were no longer on the verge of taking out my fan shroud/rad...and the car felt "nice" overall...I highly recomend them. I took JT's advice (always a good idea ) on the vert mounts and am very pleased.
