A guy that works at an exhaust shop told me that Fox Longtubes will fit a 94-95 5.0 that has a 5-speed no prob. He said they wont fit an auto. is this true? I'm looking for long tubes, (used) and not many people are selling SN95 LT's.

I tried a set of fox BBK long tubes on mine before and the pass. side fit fine but the drivers side hit the k member and the shift fork.

That is how I understand it.

The Fox won't have a egr bung btw.

A guy by the name of Glenn on the Corral has posted a good bit about this subject so you might see if you can get more specific detalils over there.

I tried BBK ones on mine cleared the K fine but not the shift fork. I've heard some brands do work thou. *shrug* Of course you won't have a EGR bung if you use fox LT's but who cares...

to my understanding, the fox headers will go in on the passenger side without issue (assuming you are removing the egr since the bung isnt there). from what i have read the drivers side though wont go in because of the placement of the steering shaft.

I'm pretty sure mustang warehouse sent me the wrong ones (especially seeing that they quit selling mac products on their website) I'm not going to lie it took me putting a couple of big dents in my floor board trying to get the back end of it to come up and after massaging the header it still rubs on the steering shaft a little. It is in, though it doesnt line up with the crossmember hump either slightly offset to the outside but I built my own exhaust for temporarily so its funtional not pretty. I do not have a 5-speed so I dont know about the clutch fork issue though.

When I tried to put the mac lt's from my fox onto my 95, called mac, they advised it would not fit, something different w/the egr, but I never tried to swap them, just sold them and used the money toward 95 specific.

what about ground clearance issues? I've heard different opinions with Fox bodies, but what about a SN95 lowered 1 1/2"???

My 94 342 is wearing a set of Mac Longtubes from a fox. The reason I went fox is because I have no egr and I got them for $70. If I had to do it over again I probably would have spent the extra $300+ and bought BBK 94-95 headers.

I had to jack the engine up a few inches and feed the headers thru the bottom. Once they were bolted in I noticed it was against part of the bracing underneath. I had to cut a very small section so ti would clear. I have a tremec tko so I am using a shift fork from fox. My headers cleared that.

It depends on the company because Accufab has a design for their custom headers that will fit both fox and our years.

I think it depends on what bellhousing u use with fox stuff as the clutch fork is in different locations.

I've heard they're the same excpet no EGR bung, so if you're EGR free you should be good to go.
