Will I have any clearance issues with long tubes and an AOD?

I've never tinkered with them, but I heard the reason for fitment issues is due to the O2 bungs being on the tranny side ... I believe the only difference is the bungs being placed on the outboard side of the collector for an AOD LT... just what I recall reading.

Never really care to venture that way ... I prefer the overall benefits of shorties ... but I'm not "hardcore" either.

You'll have to check with the manufacturers for fitment specs. I believe that MAC makes a set of LTs that will fit AODs. I don't think that BBKs will fit AODs the rest I am not sure of.

Mac does make long tube headers for an aod, and I was told the o2 ensors are moved...I have them in the truck of my car and I need to go out and look to see where indeed they are, I do think they point to the other way. The only thing that makes them harder wth the auto is the fact that the bellhousing is so big and it is alot tighter withthe aod headers, but mac does make the long tubes to fit the aod, and i will be insalling mine in about 2-3 weeks
