i'm installing a full exhaust on my otherwise stock 95 mustang (frpp ceramic shorties, bbk catted x-pipe, and flowmaster catback)...so i'm wondering if it will be necessary to add a chip when i'm done or use a power programmer/ tuner to correct my air/fuel ratio? i was reading in car craft that headers can make an engine run lean but this can be corrected with a chip. have any of you found this necessary or worthwhile? or should i get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and kick up the pressure a few pounds? or is all of this unneeded? i plan to do the typical H/C/I swap in the future and i know i will need to do some tuning then, so if i in fact do need a chip or programmer now to get the best results, i need suggestions for something that will also work out for me in the future as my budget is fairly limited. thanks guys!
