Ok here we go 95 cobra stock headers,old old X pipe (brand uknown) plus borla XR-1's with turndowns or dumps as some say. Well its too quiet I love the borla sound so I'm keeping it but the X is going in place for a Mac Pro-Chamber which should be here on friday wont get it on till monday. Too bad I'm going to the track on saturday. So will the Pro-Chamber liven this beast up as far as the sound???????????

don't do it, b/c it will prob. be quieter. Prochambers are usually quieter then o/r x's and deff. o/r h's. It may sound awesome, but it won't be louder. i have thought about getting xr1's with an o/r x. I didn't think it would be quiet, especially with turndowns. It may not have a flomaster idle and cruise, but it must be loud when you get on it. are you sure you don't have borla turbos???

i have a prochamber, it was loud for me in the beginning because i had a stock h and 3 chamber flows, now i got a prochamber and 3 chamber flows, got used to it, but its not louder than an offroad x or h, it sounds like a combination of both, its not quiet either, its just not really loud

GOT IT ON!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! Exhaust sounds great. Not to loud on the low end but after 2500 its starts screaming like a beast. That pipe rocks! Very please MAC did a good job with the development of this pipe. Car actually pulls noticably higher on higher end just a lil bit.

you want loud. mac off road pipe, magna packs cat back. that's what i have on now. with bbk shorties waiting in the box still.

its pleanty loud. I am getting MAC shortie headers in bout two more weeks. That will open it up a lil more.

I have a prochamber and it is MUCH quieter than my Mac X pipe was. I"d almost trade you just to get an X back on my car.


lol...just read all the way through and see you already got it. I'm glad it worked for you. Personally, I dont like it. The X sounds much better to me but maybe yours was just too old. Glad you like the Prochamber.

XR-1's are actually rather quiet for being a so called "race" muffler.

found out what my old X was well it was a flo-tech. Well I had to keep the car quiet namely parents. I would have to be home at like 10 at night if i had gone loud. Not sure what do do next guys any help. This Cobra needs more power!!!!
