ive been looking at some ford racing valve covers, either these http://www.blueovalindustries.com/products.php?pid=99011898 or http://www.blueovalindustries.com/products.php?pid=99011906. will these fit under the stock intake and will there be a problem with the alternater clearance (heard someone say there would be a problem)? would they fit under the edelbrock performer intake? do I maybe need an intake spacer to make it work? and if so will all of this fit under my 96-98 cobra hood? Thanks

These are a bit cheaper-

And from what I know, they generally fit with a 1/2" spacer.. others can chime in to confirm though. When I ran those, I was carbed so I didn't have to worry. My buddy with his EFI fox ran them with a 1/2" spacer and an Edelbrock RPM II, and stock hood.

I would NOT buy the first set you posted though... They're stamped steel (very thin) so they tend to bend when you tighten them, causing leaks. Also, the baffle has to be cut out to fit roller rockers under them.

second ones wont, needed a 1 inch spacer for my intake, if you run the elbow on the stock intake it may never fit. You may need an after market hood if you raise it up too.

I can say for certain there is more room under the Edel intakes than on
the Cobra and TFS intakes

Myself and several other folks I know have ran the Edels with NO spacer.

I used Fox vc's and Scorpion stud mount rr's with AFR heads

I did have to do a few mods to make the Fox vc's work

I don't know if those vc's you linked would work
