will this charger get me in the 12's

i'm thinking of buying the budget vortech kit and running with just the 5 or 6 psi till i buy a built 331 with good heads and intake (read as: at least a few years) then maybe step up to a bigger blower.

--however till then i'm thinking about the v3 sc trim. it would run about 5 to 6 lbs of boost

i would love to be able to have the power to run high or mid 12's at sea level.
do you guys think this kit with my current mods could get it done.

my current mods are:255lph fuel pump, mass air, headders, off road h-pipe, flowmaster cat back, alum drive shaft, 3.73 gears with a fully built rear end and cold air that would co by by with the new kit. every thing else is stock on my 88 5.0 with a 5 speed

that kit will put you at about 300 wheel at the most, you'll have to drive the hell out of your car to get into the 12s, but its do-able

You'll be close. I ran a Powerdyne blower at 6 psi, with stock block, stock cam, stock heads and ran a 13.0 at 110. Added heads ran 12.7 at 114. Switched to a 10 psi S trim it ran 12.2 at 118. Added the 331 and best i can do is 11.9s at 123 but thats cause im hitting the rev limiter at the 1000 ft mark
