I have a bbk o/r x-pipe with weld in flows and 18" long and 4" diameter stainless steel magnaflow tailpipes. It sounds good but I am getting tired of the flows. I am thinking about getting the slp lm1 resonators and weld them in. Will this sound good?

LM1s sound like a broken farm truck they sound hidious, especially with an o/r xpipe. The LMIIs sound sweet though

I too will be getting the LMII's. The LM1's are way too loud even with the stock h pipe. The LMII's will have a deep sound with the stock h and a loud and throaty tone with the offroad x. I'm going with the UPR X on mine though

bbk o/r x pipe + flowmasters = BBs in a can

If you must go with an x pipe, go with mustangtuning, dr gas, vrs, or upr.

MagnaPacks > all. They are a resonator too...look up some sound clips. you can get them to weld in for less than $65 a piece too.

I can vouch for UPR still making the BBK "tin can" sound with a chambered muffler.

I have a UPR with Mac Flowpaths and it still rattles like any o/r X and chambered muffler will, but it doesnt stick around for long and goes away pretty quick once its out of that certain RPM range (2k something, under load only).

Yeah, but it sounds a little better because it's a true X whereas the BBK and Basani are not true X design.

Just got the lm1s installed yesterday. And I love the sound of it. Something like a nextel cup car. My wife drives it everyday and she even like it.
