I just recently needed to replace the window motor in my passenger door of my 95 gt. I got to doing it and found once I started putting everything back in that i would have to switch the lead wire around every time to get it to go up or down it only worked in one direction every time i swaped the lead around. I think maybe it has to do with the polarity but not real sure. And also its like the front of the window is binding when it rolls up and down, is there any tricks or tips to make this go a little smoother?

I don't know about the wires but It seems that the guide that is glued onto the window may have come off. Just get some windshield/glass glue and put some glue on the piece and put it in the track then press onto the window you might have to hold for it to set. thats what fixed my dragging window.

ok that worked now i can only get one diresction out of the motor on the switch it will only go ip. Like the polarity is not switching back and making the other wire a ground. Basically its not reversing polarity. Also the master switch will not roll it up or down, im thinking it may be a ground wire somewhere thats not got a good connection. If you know anything to try please let me know!!!

well i have changed the switch to new one and even checked the other switches and still nothing. When the voltmeter read on the window that worked it read 14 volts and the other windo switch only read 11.68 volts. I believe that somehow either the ground is not connected well or there is a fault in the switch wire. To avoid costly repairs what would be the easiest way to remedy the problem?

Well i figured if i just ran my new ground from the switch it would eliminate having to find a faulty ground down the line. But im not sure if the problem lies within the passenger wiring or the master control wiring???
