car is an 89. ive replaced both my window motors. was driving home last night and my drivers side window wouldnt go up. ( passenger side rolled up and down fine) got home, pulled the switch apart and cleaned it. put it back together, got the window up. my question is, was this caused by the switch just being old? or is there something else i should be checking before i replace the switches?
