Story.
Windows were just getting old and the drivers side stopped going up, Ended up to just be the switch, but I did replace both motors and gear assem.

Everything works well now, but the drivers side keeps blowing the switches when you hold the down untill it limits, not all the time but once and a while.

all the wires look good, anyone have any ideas? I have gone through a couple switches, is this just because there old?

There is a small rectangular box on top of the starter solenoid. It is the circuit breaker for the power windows. I would replace it with a new one from the auto parts store. If it doesn't trip when the motors reach their limits, the wiring and switches could be damaged.

It's a little silver rectangular fuse, one side is bolted to solenoid.
Doesn't look like a typical fuse.

It would be this little guy, nice and easy to get too as long as you have not hidden your starter relay in the fender.
