The drivers side window will go up almost all the way but when it gets to about 1 inch away it wont go. If i am driving and and the rpms are above about 2500 it seems to go up fine. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

the motor is probably worn and the result is a bunch of resistance in it. give it more juice and it overcomes the resistance enough to go up.
it could be the track, etc binding, and the additional alternator output from revving overcomes it, but i would think that is more likely. i would spend 10 mins and take the inner door panel off and check it out.
