Window won't roll up???

Help, my driver's side window is stuck down and won't roll up! Any suggestions on how to fix this???

Hold the button in the up position while slamming the door while the ignition is on.

I should've run the search before i took my door apart.

Sorry, had to bring this up again. I just spent several hours taking the door apart before finding this thread and it worked on the first try. WOW, I feel good now....

Does anybody now what that does to fix it? Not like it matters but it would be nice to know.

Mine does the same thing except that it doesn't want to roll down. But slamming the door fixes it everytime.

you need a power window motor. It does matter because one of these times the banging on it/ slamming the door method will not work.. We do that at work to get the window up then we pull the plug on the window motor so the customer does not roll it down again ( if we don't have the motor in stock)
