Windows Wont Go Up?

I did a search and found nothing. I even searched on google so here it goes. My windows dont go up or down as of last night. For some reason when i turn the key to the on pos. i hear the fuel pump make a odd noise. Not the regular sound, its a bit choppy now. I took the door panels off and see nothing wrong. I also replaced the window relay in the fuse panel. ALSO when i take the relay out the fuel pump sounds fine. Any idea what to check over? thanx a lot . - Andy

Make sure that you are getting 12v AND ground to the window motors. There may be a dead spot in the commutator and the motor is stuck there. If both windows, then something else is going on.

Charge your battery. my fuel pump sounded really loud and my windows were stuck down but my battery guage was normal. charged it overnight and the next day both were back to normal. just something easy to try...

could it be a blown fuse?

I already checked the fuse and the battery is new....

Another thing is that the relay gets really really hot, burned the crap out of my finger and i didnt even hit the window button so i think somthing is really wrong
