If it 'aint one thing its another. My winsheild wipers wont turn on. They just worked the other day and tried to turn them on tonight on my way home and they wouldn't work. I tried to pick up a fuse at advance auto parts and they dont have one any ideas for this fuse. Its a 89LX
Do you know it's a fuse? Have you checked the pins going to the multifunction switch? The hard shell connector that connects to the multifunction switch (turnsignal/wiper) tends to break internally, allowing the wire pins to pop out and not connect to the switch itself.
First I would check fuses, then I would pop the steering column cover off and unbolt the multifunction switch and carefully check the wires going to the hardshell connector, see if they are all securely in place and making a good connection with the pins on the switch.
